Pretty rad. This may change my mind of how futile iPhones can be.

Such a unique beautiful voice with no need of tuning. You'll still live through your ethereal dulcet music.

MINKPINK Spring 2011

boho pups

First used as bait for fishing, then hair accessories for humans and now for puppies! I've always been against dressing up animals, but I don't think I could resist this cute little idea from Puppylocks!

I'm looking forward to getting my feather extension sometime next week. I may cave in and get my bunny Chestnut a matching feather fur extension...

DIY - newspaper print nails

Many people have been getting into whimsical abstract nail patterns like leopard prints. I got caught in the fad when it led to an inspiration: newspaper print nails.

First I cut out 10 small pieces from a newspaper to put on each nail.

Then I painted each nail a mint green. I would recommend a light color like this one to allow the print to be more distinct.

I then allowed the nail polish to dry only halfway before dipping it into hydrogen peroxide (you could also use rubbing alcohol).

After, I soaked a piece of newspaper in the hydrogen peroxide and pressed it firmly against a nail for about 13 seconds to allow the newspaper prints to transfer onto the nail. I continued the same thing with the rest of the nails.

I finished my nails with a clear coat.

My results were a little messy since it was only my first time experimenting, but they still came out pretty cool.

innersection - craig anderson full part

Check out Australian surfer Craig Anderson's, who recently won "Breakthrough Performer Of the Year" at the SURFER Poll Awards, full part in the film "Innersection" by Taylor Steele here.

Although I have finally mastered catching 2 foot waves on an 8'9'' longboard, I'm still considered a grommet. I can only hope to have the ability to surf like Anderson.

Headgear isn't really my thing, but I got caught in the panama hat craze when I spotted this kid at Zumiez.

madeon - pop culture (live mashup)

Here, French DJ Madeon shows off his fortes: his domination over the Novation Launchpad and handsome sampling skills. In this particular remix, Madeon used 39 songs. Pretty crazy.

DIY - tie dye fringe crop tee

Here's a tutorial on how to make the tie dye fringe crop tee, which seems to be raddest summer festival top that everyone has been raving about. I personally decided to make one because I have always been obsessed with fringe. It never fails to give you that wild bohemian look.

First you're going to need a scissor, piece of paper and an old tee. (Hint: I'm only using the piece of paper to measure how long I want my fringes to be. You could also use a ruler, etc. Also, the bigger the scissors, the better.)

I actually got this tie dye tee from a vendor in Shanghai, China last summer, but you could always buy a plain tee and tie dye it yourself.

The next thing you're going to want to do is flatten your tee as much as possible and then begin to cut thin strips like this one...

For each strip, you need to stretch it and then tie a knot at the end.
The knot is optional, but I like the detail.

Continue this all the way to the back of the tee and you'll get your fringe crop tee!

For more detail, you could also tie a knot at the top of each strip or maybe attach a feather to each knot to give it a more tribal look.

cuatro de julio

Happy belated 4th of July! Enjoy my outfit of the day... hope it's inspirational.

On a funnier note, here's something that made my day on Independence Day...

I didn't get it at first either until I saw the can of 'butts.' Hahaa
